The Mac Mail app is a powerhouse. It makes information technology like shooting fish in a barrel to manage multiple accounts, from a number of dissimilar e-mail providers. You can hands add together filters, smart folders, and quickly unsubscribe from annoying mailing lists in only a few clicks.

Only like all e-mail applications, it isn't always effective at stopping spam. Using the Unsubscribe characteristic, of course, is usually the easiest way to get rid of post from unwanted senders, though it doesn't hateful they'll actually remove you lot from their lists. In this instance, the all-time course of action is blocking the sender entirely.

The Block Sender icon appears side by side to the sender and the message is tagged as blocked. If later you would like to start receiving emails, you can easily unblock them also.

1) Click Launchpad on the Dock.

2) Open up Mail from the Launchpad.

three) Search the e-mail or sender you want to block.

iv) In the e-mail, right-click on the name of the sender you desire to cake.

5) Click Block from the context menu.
